Who is behind Design-Reptiles?
Design-Reptiles is a professional breeding facility founded by Tony, a lifelong reptile enthusiast. We work as a family, following an ethical, rigorous and passionate approach.
Do you offer visits of your breeding facility?
No. Out of respect for our animals and to preserve their calm and well-being, the facility is not open to the public.
We prioritise a controlled, secure and stress-free environment, which directly contributes to the animals’ health and stable behaviour.
However, we remain available to discuss, advise and share information about our reptiles through social media or direct contact.
Where can I see the reptiles currently available?
All available reptiles are listed in real time on our “Availability” page. Updates are automatic as soon as a specimen is ready for sale.
Do you offer waiting lists?
Yes, but only for certain rare or highly requested projects. You can sign up via our form in the “Upcoming Hatchings” section.
Are the animals born with you?
Yes, unless otherwise stated. Any external breeders are carefully selected, and all animals offered are in perfect health, properly identified, and well started.
Can I reserve a reptile in advance?
No, reservations are only possible once the animal is published online. For certain exclusive species, you can receive an alert by using our notification form.
Do you deliver throughout France?
Yes. Deliveries are available in most French departments through a specialised live animal carrier.
Each shipment is organised with strict respect for animal welfare, with conditions adapted to temperature, travel duration and the species concerned.
This ensures a safe arrival and animals in perfect health.
What about international delivery?
We can ship to several European countries and internationally, depending on local regulations. CITES documents are provided when required.
Do you provide advice after the purchase?
Of course. We support every new owner to ensure the best possible conditions for their reptile, within reasonable limits and with full respect for the animal’s needs.
We remain available to help you choose the right equipment, set up the terrarium, and manage the first steps after the reptile’s arrival—ensuring a smooth and long-lasting integration.
Do you sell suitable equipment?
Yes, through our brand by Design-Reptiles. We only offer equipment that we personally use, test, and validate under real conditions.
We also work with a selection of trusted and reputable brands known for their quality, durability and commitment to animal welfare.
Can I return a product?
Yes. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to change your mind. During this period, you may return any new, unused product in its original packaging, accompanied by its invoice or proof of purchase.
Do you only sell your own equipment brand?
No. In addition to our by Design-Reptiles brand, we also offer carefully selected equipment from external brands we genuinely trust.
Do you offer equipment suitable for beginners?
Yes. Our products are designed to be suitable for both experienced enthusiasts and beginner keepers, with simple, reliable and scalable solutions.
Are your products in stock?
Yes, unless stated otherwise. All products displayed in the shop are actually in stock and shipped quickly from our warehouse.
Can I ask for advice before buying equipment?
Of course. We personally use every item we sell, so we can guide you toward the equipment that truly fits your needs and your species.
Do you offer only legal species?
Absolutely. All our animals are kept in full compliance with French and European legislation, respecting all regulations regarding possession, traceability and animal welfare.
Are species requiring certificates clearly indicated?
Yes. Species subject to CDC/AOE requirements are clearly identified and are only offered to individuals holding the necessary authorisations.
Is it easy to contact you?

Do you offer training courses?
Not at the moment, but it is something we are considering.
We receive many requests and are planning to offer specialised training in the future, based on our real-world experience.
