COCO HUSK 6–18 mm – 500 g brick
COCO HUSK – by Design Reptiles is a natural substrate made from compressed coconut husk chips, formed into a 500 g brick. This compact size is perfect for small enclosures, quarantine phases or occasional needs. It retains the same properties as larger formats: effective moisture retention, well-aerated soil and simplified maintenance. The substrate is triple-washed, low in salt and low-dust, ensuring a clean and safe environment for tropical reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Its 6–18 mm particle size prevents compaction and reduces ingestion risks. Once rehydrated, each brick yields approximately ±7 L of ready-to-use substrate.
