HabiStat Tortoise Bedding is a sterile blend of soil and sand enriched with calcium, specifically formulated for terrestrial tortoises living in dry or semi-humid environments.
It provides strong moisture retention while offering a perfect texture for burrowing, encouraging natural behaviours such as digging, exploration and thermoregulation.
This substrate is also highly appreciated as a base layer for other burrowing reptiles.
The added calcium provides extra safety in case of accidental ingestion.
